Costa Rica provided another major upset at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, beating Uruguay 3-1.
There was only one goal in the first half, from Uruguay through a penalty kick. But Costa Rica, an underdog according the country's World Cup record, revved up for an unexpected victory with three goals after the break.
Striker Joel Campbell scored after Celso Borges headed down the ball in the 54th minute, and Oscar Duarte headed in the winner. Substitute Marcos Urena added the third goal with six minutes left, as Costa Rica won for the first time in the World Cup since 2002, when it beat China in the group stage.
